Splitting a Clip
To split a clip, move the Scrubber to the time where you wish to split the clip.
Select “Split Clip” from the Edit menu.
Below is an example of splitting the clip after moving the Scrubber to the 3s (3 second) tick mark.
Why split a Clip?
Splitting is often used to chop up your screencast into sections where you might want to add a video description to each section. By using Split Clip, you can easily choose where you want to stop the “Screen Recording”, add some video introducing the next section, then start the “Screen Recording” again.
